Pitman Glass Company was founded in January 1962 by Claude and Ruby Shute. In March 1964, J.W. Pitman purchased 50% of the company from Claude and Ruby Shute. In September 1970, J.W. Pitman purchased the remaining 50%, giving the Pitman family full ownership.

Our glass company has continued a family tradition. Owned by the Pitman family and operated by Scott Pitman, who is president and general manager and Jeff Pitman is manger of auto glass, window tinting and auto accessories.

We thank the people of Memphis and the Mid South for making our company so successful for over 40 years.
